‘Kaos,’ Netflix Series Starring Jeff Goldblum and Janet McTeer, Scheduled for August 2024 Release

Exploring a New UK-Produced Interpretation of Greek and Roman Mythology, Focused on Themes of Gender Politics and Power: What You Should Know.

An essential guide to the upcoming show, Kaos, will debut across the globe on the 29th of August 2024 on Netflix, earmarked as a contemporary as well as darkly funny twist to Greek mythology dramedy series.

Introduction

Netflix’s Kaos is crafted by Charlie Covell, known for her work on the popular series The End of the F***ing World. Episode 6 is co-written by Georgia Christou.

Kaos is helmed by Georgi Banks-Davies, known for directing acclaimed series like I Hate Suzie and Paper Girls. Runyararo Mapfumo directed the latter half of the series.

Sister, the production company that brought you HBO’s Emmy-winning mini-series titled Chernobyl and a Netflix’s co-production Giri/Haji is the one responsible for the pandemonium. They are also working on Eric which will air on Netflix soon alongside other series like This Is Going to Hurt, The Baby, The Power and Pack of Lies. Sister produced it in collaboration with All3Media and Brightstar.


Story-line of “Kaos”

We are here to gives a fresh review on what store Netflix’s program series Kaos has for watchers:

Zeus has been ruling as the King of the Gods for so long now However, when he wakes up to a single wrinkle on his forehead, he interpreted it as a bad sign of his imminent downfall from an old prophecy and hence he soon lost confidence because before that he seemed unbeatable. His fears about the future made him delve deeper into despair leading him towards destruction by interpreting different happenings as signals for demise.

Three normal humans who are unaware, hence hold it together as they constitute the world’s saviours unsuspectingly. Without their knowledge, they were supposed to, therefore some are e.g., tricked by Prometheus—Zeus’ former ally, now his prisoner—into bringing down the God of Gods .In the end, they must play their fated parts, irrespective of whether they understand the same or not, otherwise things would definitely come to many people other than those who really understand what exactly is expected of them.

  • Jeff Goldblum: (Jurassic Park, The World According to Jeff Goldblum) portraying Zeu

… displaying Zeus, on the face of it all-powerful yet at heart he was deeply insecure and malicious. He had been the supreme ruler among gods until one day he woke up in the morning only to find out that there was a wrinkle on his head. This indicates the beginning of a serious mental illness which causes constant fear of an imminent failure in him. The almighty ruler of the gods turned into a crazy person who could see signs announcing his own death everywhere.

  • Janet McTeer (Ozark) as Hera

The queen of the gods dominats the earth and asserts her authority over Zeus in a distinct style that is hers and hers alone. But Zeus’ growing paranoia threatens to undermine both her power and independence, forcing her into this definitive response. In the meantime Dionysus, the son of Zeus who defies all expectations, is driven towards certain cosmic collision alongside his father.

At the same time, he is preoccupied with the size of his super-yacht and the next lavish party, and poor mortals’ worries do not concern him. But some mortals are beginning to sense this and the gods are unhappy.

Production Status of “Kaos”

Originally set to commence in the summer of 2020, filming for Kaos was postponed because of COVID-19 concerns. Multiple production sources confirmed that production eventually began in May 2022 in London, UK, and Marbella, Spain. Some of the places that were used for filming in Spain were Axarquía, Malaga City, Seville, Madrid, Valencia and the Costa del Sol.
