Top 5 Licensed Movies Arriving in July 2024

The Long Game (2023)

Coming to Netflix: July 12th

We suggest ‘The Long Game’ as one of the licensed recommendations. It will premiere on Netflix as a SVOD in July 2024. This means it will be on a streaming service for the first time ever because it was initially available on video on demand.

Describing the story of the San Felipe Mustangs, a Mexican-American youth group that faced difficult times and won a state golf championship, this film stars Jay Hernandez alongside Dennis Quaid.

Going Clear: Scientology and The Prison of Belief (2015)

There have been many cult documentaries on Netflix, but nothing quite like Scientology; this is why we are thrilled to declare that HBO’s ‘Going Clear,’ long considered by many to be most thorough examination ever carried out of this strange church, finally comes on board at our service.

Alex Gibney (who is famous for “Dirty Money”) directed this documentary. It includes the captivating reports of previous church adherents when they were explaining Scientology’s beginning up to now. This documentaries shows what Scientology teaches and how it has spread worldwide.

Bone Tomahawk (2015)

Western movies are making a comeback, as evidenced by the impressive viewing numbers of Paramount’s show Yellowstone. Here Kevin Costner has also attempted to rejuvenate the genre in cinemas although not as successfully as he hoped for.

If you are searching for a new Western movie to catch on Netflix, ‘Bone Tomahawk,’ in which Kurt Russell stars in, is scheduled to premiere right in the middle of the month.

Upon its release, the movie was given good reviews by the critics and the audiences. In it, Russell plays a sheriff leading his deputy on a dangerous mission to save three people from dangerous cave-dwelling foes.

Land of Bad (2024)

Coming to Netflix: July 18th

A new SVOD debut is coming to Netflix in July, recently announced as ‘Land of Bad’ a week ago. This action thriller was directed by William Eubank and starring Liam Hemsworth and Russell Crowe. The film narrates the fate of a US special forces team that was attacked during an extraction operation leading to their entrapment for two intense days while being helped by a drone operator.

The film had its cinematic debut at the beginning of this year; and today, it has already attracted a good number of admirable views from different audiences. These were some of the comments made by Mark Jonson who works for a famous company called Eposh Times. According to him, it’s a fantastic piece of work because despite the fact that it may never reach Platoon’s standard, it shares close similarities with others such as 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

The Inspection (2022)

Coming to Netflix: July 18th

At the end, We’re finishing off our choices with an A24 movie, which increase them by about twelve on Netflix – their number for now. An underdog can be described based on this added single one.

This moving drama that studies the life of a young man who is cast aside by his mother only to embrace the military as his sense of belonging was both written and directed by Elegance Bratton.

The story of the show is quite like Netflix’s new series called The Corps, which is being acted upon now.

Next month, are there any movies you are looking forward to seeing again or for the first time? Let us know in the comments – which will you pick?
