Netflix has unveiled its second Engagement Report, offering a comprehensive overview of global viewing habits in 2023. In this in-depth analysis, we delve into the trends and performance metrics of Netflix Original English-language films released prior to 2022.
Introduction:
The reason for this method is because the films that were produced in 2022 were still new, in 2023 especially in the last seven months. This is why I decided to narrow down my research to just looking at Netflix movies which were still in circulation up to twelve months following their release, as per the time when my research ended on December 31st 20. Nevertheless, The Irishman was consistent in terms of viewership from January to July which might have been attributed to Killers of the Flower Moon that was released towards the end.” Nevertheless such lasting popularity of 3-hour long prestige flick is admirable.”

Astonishing success for Robert Rodriguez’s “We Can Be Heroes” remains a top-selling movie 3 years after its release even without any follow-up films. It is such an endurance that it is going to be interesting to see whether or not it is going to keep going in future Traffic Reports.
If one does not want to be seen on Netflix, creating a black-and-white movie may work. But most likely any film like this will end up in a category of those struggling for popularity – such as David Fincher’s “Mank” or Radha Blank’s “The Forty-Year-Old Version” – that draw away potential viewers by means of monochrome thumbnails.

In the year of 2021 animated films saw a return to the entertainment scene.
