“Snowpiercer” Season 4 Introduction
The much anticipated return of Snowpiercer in 2023 sadly will not be happening as tnt has cancelled the show yet it was supposed to be good even in its last episodes. Instead, amc is the one that took it upon itself to air it in America. However, its fate is unknown worldwide especially because it might have stopped being part of Netflix Originals.
Inspired by Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film and the 1982 French graphic novel, Snowpiercer depicts the lives of those aboard a perpetually moving train circling the globe. Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Sean Bean, and Alison Wright headline the cast of this series, which debuted on TNT in 2020.

However, everything took a different direction in January 2023 when season four was announced as not airing on TNT. Instead, Tomorrow Studios started looking for other ways to air it.”

Snowpiercer was also a victim of this at one point. Another thing that happened was that Warner Bros. Discovery dropped several projects and removed others from the internet due to which many shows, including Snow Piercer, vanished. Warner Bros. Discovery chose to stop it for a variety of reasons. What they usually know is this was because the TV network had shifted its focus to producing episodes hence there was a tendency of sometimes stopping the TV series until it fades away, as a result of which Warner Bros. Discovery decided to cancel it later.

This takes us back to earlier in 2024 when AMC, known for hits like The Walking Dead, revealed it would host Snowpiercer’s concluding season.
All three seasons of the series are now accessible for streaming on AMC in the US, with the fourth season set to debut on July 21st, 2024.

“At the moment, it is not confirmed. Since the fourth season has neither aired nor completely filmed, Netflix is not guaranteed to take it. Recently, after the acquisition by AMC, we have contacted different representatives of the show. One of them told us that there are discussions that are still ongoing,”
We contacted ITV Studios for comment, but they did not reach out. Netflix, given its international licensing, makes sense as the most likely platform for Season 4, though it’s not definite yet whether or not Season 4 will indeed be available on Netflix globally.
