Netflix has wrapped up the filming of a much anticipated new movie by Lee Daniels called “The Deliverance” (formerly known as “Demon House”). It is based on the horrifying story of Latoya Ammons and her family that got extensive media coverage in the US back in 2014 with plans to release it in late August through their online platform which will be followed by putting it into cinemas. Director Lee Daniels has revised the script and is set to direct the horror movie. The movie had its name switched from Demon House to The Deliverance in July 2022 to avoid being mistaken for another movie of the same name that was released in 2018. In a bid to protect her kids and escape demonic possession, Ebony may opt for a direct altercation or an experienced exorcist’s assistance or try to discover hidden weaknesses of the devil that captures her offspring. As presented by the film, Ammons family possession entails dogged struggle against evil, the power of maternal instinct as opposed to scepticism and unyielding faith.
