Five young Mexican-American Caddies, driven by immense love for game, set out to create their golf course in the centre of South Texas desert where they would learn how to play golf in 1955.
What is the Storyline of ‘The Long Game’?
Inspired by the critically acclaimed self-published book written by Humberto G. Garcia, the motion picture follows the tale of five youthful assistant golfers of Mexican-American origin who in 1955 in the desert of South Texas they built their own golf course propelled by nothing much else apart from their passion for the game.
Even if they begun with olden apparatus and minus propound schooling, these guys surprised many people by being anti-anticompetitive with opulent all-white sides and gathering victory in the 1957 Texas State High School Golf Championship. Their motivating travel, which is like “A Field of Dreams” as far as golf is concerned, managed not only to do away with bias but also facilitated various Hispanic PGA Golfers in future years.
