‘Rebel Moon’ Introduction
The anticipation is almost at an end. Following the release of Part One in December 2023 and Part Two in April 2024, Rebel Moon is set to make a comeback with new extended R-rated Director’s Cuts in August 2024. Netflix has confirmed that both films will be available worldwide on August 2nd, 2024.

If you weren’t aware, Zack Snyder has just made another attempt at conquering the sci-fi fantasy franchise business. That attempt is called Rebel Moon. These movies, which can be streamed on Netflix now, are rated PG-13. Despite this, it was reported in March of 2023 that he would also be making an extended R-rated cut just like he did for Justice League in 2021.
- Netflix and Snyder pursued distinct versions altogether, not merely deleted scenes, to appeal to a broader audience by initially releasing PG-13 cuts.
- The extended editions aren’t simply longer renditions; they diverge in tone, incorporating additional elements of gore, sexuality, and alternative takes. Snyder characterizes them as embodying a deconstructive sci-fi essence infused with heavy metal, violence, and sexuality.
- Official ratings and alternate titles for the films include “Rebel Moon – Chapter One: Chalice Of Blood” and “Rebel Moon – Chapter Two: Curse Of Forgiveness.”
- A new scene has been opened on Noble Street with 30 minutes devoted to him while Jimmy is focused for 30 minutes as well.
- Both have received official R ratings from the Classification And Rating Administration.
- Until now, there have been limited details regarding the release of the director’s cuts only mentioning that it will happen sometime in summer 2024; however, both Netflix and Zack Snyder have confirmed that on Friday August 2nd 2024 both movies will be available at Netflix. The total duration of the two combined is expected to be six hours.
