After releasing ‘Delicious in Dungeon’ episodes weekly, the show’s team has confirmed that a second season is currently in production.
‘Delicious in Dungeon’ Season 2 Introduction
Delicious in Dungeon has finished its premier season on Netflix or any other TV channel with a total of 24 episodes airing every week starting on January 2024. Moreover, the official channels of this show have disclosed that it will return for its second installment.
The series, which started in 2014, is a fantasy cooking adventure manga by an ongoing artist directed by Yoshihiro Miyajima: produced by Studio Trigger who did ‘BNA: Brand New Animal’ on Netflix.’ It was written by Kimiko Ueno.

Who’s Delicious Dungeon Anime Series Voice Cast?
Kentaro Kumagai (known for Blackfox) portrays Laios, the group’s leader and Falin’s brother. Sayaka Senbongi (from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train) embodies the elven Marcille, whose magic is her primary strength. Asuna Tomari (featured in 86 and Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song) takes on the role of Chilchuck, adept at unlocking doors and disabling traps. Hiroshi Naka (known for Cowboy Bebop and Cowboy Bebop: The Movie) plays Senshi, a skilled dwarf warrior and a master of monster cuisine.Saori Hayami (known for A Silent Voice and A Place Further Than the Universe) portrays Falin, a skilled spell-caster and Laios’ sister. Akira Miki (from Record of Ragnarok and Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space) plays Namari, a weapons expert who previously belonged to Laios’ group. Shinji Kawada (from Naruto: Shippuden) embodies Shuro, a fighter deeply enamored with Falin.

What is the storyline of Delicious in Dungeon?
In a peaceful island village one day, the ground shakes and splits open. Out of the new crack comes out one man. He declares that there is his ancient empire; it is somewhere deep under the graveyard where he had been laid to rest many centuries ago. There is an audience of treasure hunters who get stirred up by his narrative, setting off to look for this dream of their life. In the group is Brownie, a group of youthful warriors led by the tough Laios Kumagai, a fighting guy that never gives up.
Laios realizes his sister Falin has been devoured by the Red Dragon. Running out of time, money, and supplies, Laios can’t afford to lose their weapons. It is this situation that makes him decide that the only way out is to live in the dungeon feeding upon it’s edible roots,animals while trying to escape death due to starvation or any other form of suffering they may encounter there. Fortunately for them there are those who would come to their rescue in such perilous moments; such as Naka -a warrior dwarf- whose ability to cook comes in handy during their journey full of dangers.
In this fantasy-comedy series, a gang goes on an adventurous expedition to the enigmatic dungeons’ bottom; there, they come across traps, enemies, friends, and also some odd creatures such as gnome scientists, large-sized frogs, and the ghouls. Each show presents its own distinctively surrealistic episode that involves meals such as Exorcist Sorbet as well as Mandrake Omelettes sprinkled with either Treasure Bug or Slime in which time the main characters try out different culinary delights while battling with an array of demons’ figures together with their own equally strong desires.
