The Price of Confession is an authentic thriller from South Korea, directed by acclaimed director Lee Jeong Hyo, of Crash Landing on You fame. In spite of an ongoing production and an excellent cast, the series remains shrouded in mystery. Here is what we know about it so far.
Introduction of ‘The Price of Confession’
An Yoon-Soo is an art teacher enjoying a serene and normal life until her world is turned upside down by a stunning case of homicide. However, despite her standoffish attitude, Mo Eun, who is an enigmatic and acool woman that keeps off from people, suddenly opens up to An Yoon-Soo, thereby making her the only person she actually talks to.

As the investigation goes on, An Yoon-Soo and Mo Eun realize that their lives are connected. In the process of finding out the reasons for certain actions, some hidden facts came to the fore alongside some other aspects of their lives that they were not aware existed before they were made public such as secrets and other forms of motives by different people which may have led them do something wrong at one point leading to either committing an offense or getting involved in illegal activities thereby necessitating a confession by one at some point later on over different crimes committed earlier on against either the state itself.

The movie “The Price of Confession” surpasses normal criminal television shows by examining how trauma affects people psychologically while they attempt protecting themselves and their loved ones.
Story-line of ‘The Price of Confession’
In the arrangement, Jeon Do Yeon is depicted as Ahn Yoon Soo. She took part in the Netflix Original TV series titled “Crash Course in Romance” slated to be aired in 2023 as well as the action film named “Kill Bok Soon”. Away from this, she has been seen in various K-dramas which have been outstanding: ‘Lost’, ‘The Good Wife’ and ‘Until We Can Love’.

In the series, Kim Go Eun plays the role of Mo Eun. The most recent tvN 2022 drama Kim starred in was “Little Women” which was aired on Netflix. Besides her performances in highly ranked K-drama series “Goblin” and “The King: Eternal Monarch”, her acting skills have also been seen in movies like “Exhuma”, “Hero” among others outside Netflix.

Park Hae Soo who is popular for his role in “Bad Education” plays the part of Baek Dong Hoon in it. On Netflix, he has been seen as Baek Dong Hoon for “Bad Education” and also appeared in some other notable roles like “Money Heist Korea,” “Squid Game,” “Racket Boys,” “Persona,” “Memories of the Alhambra,” and “Prison Playbook.” Furthermore, an upcoming movie titled ‘The Great Flood’ will feature Park Hae Soo.

When Releases ‘The Price of Confession’ on Netflix
Netflix has not released “The Price of Confession” as of June 25, 2024. Given changes in the cast and expected production schedules, one can expect that the series may go live by late 2024 or probably sometime in 2025.
