“500 Days of Pablo Escobar” is scheduled to debut on Netflix across several countries, including the US, on July 19th, 2024.
Last year the first time Colombian release gave way to ‘500 Days of Escobar’ that is going to be shown on Netflix in July. The date of this movie launch has been announced and set for July 19 2022 through an internet based entertainment service provider known as OTT streaming platform with no further information provided about it.
Introduction
Spreading new light on the Colombian drug lord’s life, the documentary features detailed accounts from Gustavo Salazar Pineda, Alonso Salazar, María Emma Mejía Vélez, Óscar Naranjo, Javier Peña, and Nicolas Escobar Urquijo. It follows Pablo Escobar’s absolute control over Colombia, and the 500-day duration of his capture from 1992 to 1993.

Simon Hernandez directs and co-writes the documentary alongside Jorge Cardona Alzate. Originally broadcasted in Colombia last December, Netflix has acquired global rights for its release this July.

The documentary about Escobar, Pablo, El Patron Del Mal which airs for 74 episodes in most countries, is just one title amongst others in quite an expanding library of content by Netflix centered around Drug Kingpin Pablo Escobar. The same Pablo Escobar-based licensing agreement also involves 74 episode Escobar’s El Patron Del Mal which is also available on Netflix throughout major nations. Only recently was the 2010 ESPN 30 for 30 documentary called Two Escobars taken in by Netflix, United States.

Initially Netflix didn’t tell us what the title of the release would be in July, 2024. Nevertheless, every month’s list of uploads will contain it in the title so that we get acquainted with any new movies soon.
