This show is based on a 2009 bestseller “Leviathan” by Scott Westerfeld. A further two books have since been released, the second one being “Behemoth” and the third one is called “Goliath”. Another novel by Scott Westerfeld, Uglies, is being adapted for Netflix. This will be directed by McG and Joey King starring will release an American version in 2024.
Netflix exclusively worked on Godzilla Singular Point in their studios based elsewhere. The company is also now busy with Trigun Stampede set to come out at the beginning of January 2023 and many others yet to be released.
Story line of Next Netflix Series ‘Beastars’ : Adaptation of Scott Westerfeld’s ‘Leviathan
“Beastars” won’t be back with a new season or spin-off. Still, the creators of “Beastars” – Orange studio — promise us something fresh. They are going to turn Scott Westerfeld’s book “Leviathan” into an anime series for Netflix. Scheduled for release across the globe in 2025, it will definitely amaze us all in different fascinating ways.
The anime series is being produced by Tokyo-based Orange who also produced Beastars, Netflix’s flagship anime series, based on a manga “Beastars” written by Paru Itagaki. The first season was released on Netflix in 2019. The third and final installment of this show will be released in two parts starting next year.
For the project, Justin Leach and Taiki Sakurai have teamed up to produce it. Joe Hisaishi, a well-known composer, will make new music for the show. While Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi are responsible for the sound design.

On the Netflix follow-up, another two anime versions will also be aired: the “My Oni Girl” and “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie,” together with “Tokyo Override” by Thai-based RiFF Studio.
