Netflix will make a movie based on Richard Osman’s novel “The Thursday Murder Club” in collaboration with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment. They are planning to start production sometime this summer.
Chris Columbus directed the upcoming film “The Thursday Murder Club”, which is a comedy crime film from Netflix Originals, based on a novel by Richard Osman. The production company is Amblin Entertainment and the executive producer is Steven Spielberg. Other producers are Richard Osman, Holly Bario who was involved in the movie Ghost in the Shell, Jeb Brody of Source Code among others including Eleanor Columbus that did Harry Potter and Todd Jennifer producer of Memento.
