Netflix users were thrilled by the second season of Sweet Home after a three-year gap. Season 3 will follow a similar production approach and has been set for July 2024 release date on Netflix as well.
Introduction of ‘Sweet Home’ Season 3
Hyun lost his whole family in a tragic event which scatters wreckage throughout his life leaving him all alone in the world. He is left with no choice other than to desert it only to come face to face with the ugly reality embodied by monstrous forces bent on wiping out humanity. Thereby, he has to fight against destiny and run so as to keep alive whatever is left off us before it perishes as well.

Story -line of ‘Sweet Home’ Season 3 on Netflix
In Season 2’s breathtaking cliffhanger, humanity faces extinction. The spread of monstrous transformations has peaked, creating a horrifying world run by horrifying creatures. Amidst this pandemonium, the small band of human survivors, known as ‘neohumans’, struggle to remain human.
Urgency arises in the quest for solution, and Cha Hyun-Su, the protagonist who is in great pain, fights with himself. Is he going to let himself be consumed by darkness or use this new strength as redemption? Yet Yi-Kyung conceals more than the mystery surrounding him; she has given birth to an exceptional child who might as well save mankind.

Season 3 introduces new allies with a nod to some old faces. The giant figure of Eun-Hyeok is a threat in waiting while the question remains whether he will retain his human side and turn away from taking up opposition against his former friends. Finding the main opponent within Cha Hyun Soo, Sang Won, and Eun Hyuk is complex. However, the suspense filled confrontation is very likely to happen between him (Sang Won) and Cha Hyun Soo while Eun Hyuk, who is a mysterious man, may be walking on both sides of being a normal person and a monster.
