Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ batch of episodes.
‘Unsolved Mysteries’ Volume 4 Introduction
Unsolved Mysteries are back with a lot of new unexplained things after first two years of absent. There are at least five sections of this program which will be comparable to the whole word’s start on July 31st, 2024!
As you may recall, Volume 3 of Unsolved Mysteries was released on Netflix in a non-traditional format. Nine episodes were launched as a “three-night event” around Halloween, with three episodes airing on October 18th, October 25th, and November 1st, 2022.
Netflix TUDUM revealed in July 2024 that the show’s new season would premiere, featuring it in its documentary and docuseries preview for the summer. While specific details about the season’s content were not disclosed, they did share the following logline:
Additionally, they announced three directors confirmed for the upcoming season:
- Robert M. Wise – He previously served as an executive producer on prior seasons and directed three episodes: “Death in Oslo” (S2E2), “Death Row Fugitive” (S2E3), and “Body in the Bay” (S3E7).
- Skye Borgman – Director of “Girl in the Picture” and previous episodes of Unsolved Mysteries: “Lady in the Lake” (S2E5), “Mystery at Mile Marker 45” (S3E1), “Death in a Vegas Motel” (S3E4).
- Gabe Torres – Director of “Brake” and “December,” as well as previous episodes of Unsolved Mysteries: “Something in the Sky” (S3E2) and “What Happened to Josh?” (S3E5).

While Shawn Levy is the executive producer of 21 Laps Entertainment Cosgrove/Meurer Productions is being spearheaded by Terry Dunn Meurer.
As part of their July 2024 lineup announcement, Netflix unveiled exclusive first-look images from the upcoming season.
