Lily Santiago and Wilson Bethel have been cast in Untamed.
Lily Santiago from La Brea and Wilson Bethel from Daredevil are joining Eric Bana in the cast of Untamed.
When Untamed was first announced, Eric Bana was the sole confirmed cast member. On June 21st, Sam Neill and Rosemarie DeWitt were also confirmed to have joined, playing the roles of Paul Souter and Jill Bodwin, respectively.
Lily Santiago and Wilson Bethel have joined the cast of Untamed.
Santiago will star as Naya Vasquez, previously a cop in Los Angeles but moved to Yosemite to take up a position as a ranger in this coming Netflix Originals series. She had just moved to the park for a new beginning with her four-year-old son Gael. Evidently not a veteran of the wilderness in Yosemite National Park, her insistence, inquiry mind, as well as urban crime resolution methods, are all instrumental in solving a homicide case. Santiago, who played Veronica Castillo on NBC’s La Brea, will soon be seen on Netflix Originals.

Bethel is set to portray Shane Maguire, a former army ranger who now serves as the Wildlife Management Officer in the park. Known for his solitary lifestyle and preference for wilderness solitude, Shane follows his own rules. Viewers familiar with Netflix’s Daredevil may recognize Bethel from his role as Bullseye, also known as Benjamin Poindexter.
